Meet the Blog

I'm a waitress, a cocktail waitress, and work in public safety. I want to be a journalist. In all of these jobs I meet many many people. I get to know them and even if its only for a few minutes I make a connection with them whether I meant to or not. Sometimes its nothing special and sometimes these people become a part of my life that I cherish, and sometimes I learn new things about people I thought I knew. Sometimes meeting a new person or learning something new about someone you already know can change everything or just give you a new perspective. Unfortunately the fast pace of this technological world often keeps us from forming these connections the way we have in the past. Most relationships are now formed on dating websites and social networks so why not continue the trend? Get to know some of the people I've met, maybe their stories will surprise you, or maybe you'll be surprised to see where you're childhood friend wound up. Perhaps you'll see the real person behind the person you thought you knew, or maybe you'll learn more about yourself or maybe you can simply appreciate meeting a new person.

No matter what you get from this, I want to provide you with the opportunity to meet some of the people I get the chance to meet.
